Today, in the "Love What You Do" podcast by Robert Cugno who is an amazing career coach working with an array of professionals helping them achieve the career of their dreams, I open up about my life - how I started my 1st job, was fired from my 2nd, pushing me into the direction I was meant to be in, to senior roles at Fairfax, National Geographic Channel, Fox International and CNN International.

I share my family and my communities expectations in the definition of a successful career and how I choose my own path to defy to norms.

The challenges I faced as a woman in the corporate and business world, and more so as a multicultural woman - the "double jeopardy" or "glass cultural ceiling" effect that many of us face in the community face.

And my *Oh Shit* moment, realizing that there had to be more to life than the corporate grind and why it was a tough decision for me to quit and start my own business that led me to become the entrepreneur that I am today.  Running a profit for purpose venture, HerWit that I believe is truly my purpose.  

Working with female founders, aspiring entrepreneurs, corporate executives and women wanting to get back into their careers after starting a family, these are the women that I want to be of service to so that they can have the freedom and power to live their best lives. But most of all, so that their stories will inspire and impact other women and the future generation of young girls to believe in themselves and achieve whatever it is they want to be.  

My mission with HerWit is to create more female role models and thought leaders.

So, in a nutshell, it looks at:

• Why you must choose your own path (even if your family expect you to be an accountant)
• Why connecting your career with purpose will get you through the hard times
• Why it’s important to be patient with yourself and others
